Ambitious project

The line runs between the city centre and the north west and south east suburbs and includes 18 stations and stretches 20.9 km.

Egis was appointed as part of a consortium formed with Transconsult, for the supervision of the design, construction and commissioning of all the systems of Line 3, as well as civil engineering, the maintenance depot’s systems and maintenance machines, interface management and the ISA (Independent Safety Assessment) assignment for the entire programme. Thanks to their knowledge of the local culture and environment, the Egis-Transconsult teams played an active role in the coordination between the various project contributors, solving technical problems and of course to the success of the project as a whole.
