2Excel Logistics Ltd (2Excel) was established in 2009 and now has ten operational depots throughout the UK: two in Letchworth Garden City, one in Wilstead, two in Leighton Buzzard and Aldridge respectively, as well as one each in Burntwood, in Peterborough and in Sunderland.

Justin Wilkie took full ownership of the company in 2013, bringing a vision for a brighter and bigger future. Starting with an office and third-party logistics (3PL) warehouse operation in Burntwood in Staffordshire, and in Stevenage and in Royston in Hertfordshire, 2Excel was moving anywhere between 30 and 50 loads per day. Today however, the company moves anywhere between an impressive 120 and 150 loads per day.
2019 saw the company purchase Bee Line Transport & Distribution Limited which had predominately moved chilled and frozen produce around the UK. Following this acquisition, 2Excel formed a parent company called Myriad Transport Ltd as a holding company for both entities.
Over the years the company has acquired increasing amounts of warehousing and storage space and has invested heavily in a warehouse management system, incorporating handheld scanners with all goods uniquely barcoded to enable scanning of goods in and out of the unique barcoded racked locations.
In 2022, a more recent location in Bedford became 2Excel’s new head office. This 35,000 square-foot facility has two dock level bays and half an acre of secure outside storage. It is fully racked and has some bespoke racking for what is known as ugly freight. In October of 2022, the company acquired a further 56,000-square-foot warehouse on a secure two-acre site in Peterborough.

Operating under the Road Haulage Association’s conditions of carriage and the United Kingdom Warehousing Association’s conditions of storage, 2Excel provides GPS tracking to allow up-to-date status updates for all deliveries made through its national haulage network. Alongside goods haulage, 2Excel can also assist customers with haulage of all types of waste, providing support and advice to ensure its safe and effective disposal. 
Providing logistics and road haulage services nationwide, 2Excel’s processing and logistics team extends its services to European freight requirements. From importing and exporting shipping containers throughout Europe to loading and unloading containers at all UK ports, the team is on hand to help. 2Excel provides air freight services, same day, urgent and door-to-door deliveries, as well as European groupage loads for all types of products, for both inbound and outbound freight. All customs and legal documentation are handled by the company’s talented team of logistics experts, providing peace of mind for customers, wherever they’re based.
Seamless service
As a full member of the Road Haulage Association, 2Excel is now also fully accredited with ISO 9001. With multiple locations around the UK, the company operates a wide range of warehousing solutions. Its warehousing offers a very narrow aisle configuration and can store up to 50,000 pallets. Alongside this, the company provides a pick and pack service, container de stuff services, reworking, cross docking, co packing, e-commerce solutions and much more. BRC AA graded and OF&G organic certified for warehousing solutions, 2Excel can support specific sectors such as the food and beverage industry. The BRC Storage and Distribution certification is appropriate for any business operating the storage and distribution of products. The standard accounts for all factors that influence the safety, quality and legality of stored and distributed produce, whether from farm to processor or primary processor to manufacturer.
In addition to its warehouse facilities, 2Excel offers outside storage as well as secure trailer parking at the rear of its buildings in Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and the Northeast. These areas have fully enclosed secure yards and are covered by security cameras to ensure the security of customers’ goods.
