Learn how Alltruck’s commercial vehicle rental services help keep Britain moving
Committed, progressive, passionate and proactive: four core values that define Alltruck PLC (Alltruck). Based in Croft, Leicestershire, the company is one of the UK’s leading commercial vehicle contract hire and truck rental specialists, servicing businesses across Leicester, Loughborough, Nottingham, and the wider UK.
Alltruck’s journey began with four founders back in 1990, and since then the business has undergone tremendous growth, building longstanding relationships with its clients and cultivating a brilliant reputation. Its mission? To “proactively deliver operational excellence that establishes it as the must-have partner within the industry,” achieved by “developing a high-performing team that is committed to continual improvement.”
Established under the ethos that ‘passion brings out the best in all of us’, Alltruck’s solid foundations are the secret behind its strong customer relationships and success. Operating under the belief that the most valuable thing it carries is the reputation of its clients, the company is fully committed to protecting its clients’ brands and caring for drivers across the country, supplying great trucks that are expertly maintained and reasonably priced.
Alltruck’s subsidiary, Alltruck2, is situated just 30 miles away in Nottingham. The business was established to ‘continue the journey’, further building on the success of Alltruck and extending its values, promises and services to a wider client base nationwide.
Servicing the wider East Midlands and beyond, Alltruck2 offers high-quality used trucks and vans sourced from Alltruck’s extensive fleet, which includes market-leading brands such as DAF and Mercedes-Benz. Understanding the pressures that come from buying a new vehicle, particularly one that is pre-loved, Alltruck2 prides itself on exceptional customer service, providing a straightforward, simplified service to all clients.
Comprehensive fleet capabilities
Upon purchasing a van or truck from Alltruck2, customers are treated to a comprehensive premium service. Flexible finance options and a full-service history are available with every sale, as well as a three-month wear-and-tear warranty and six months’ MOT. With the promise that all vehicles are cared for by Alltruck2’s team, both pre- and post-sale, clients are guaranteed a product with a long lifespan keeping them on the road for longer.
Equipped with a reliable, ergonomic fleet and vast scope of capabilities, Alltruck offers the full package across its contract hire and rental solutions. Its contract hire services include asset management, bodyshop, liveried vehicles, maintenance, fleet management and HGV MOT workshop services, as well as a top-quality fleet comprised of high-spec day and sleeper cab trucks, all with super-sized cabins for maximum comfort.

Its substantial fleet, which has an average age of around 19 months and boasts an impressive 98 percent MOT pass rate, offers a large assortment of high-spec trucks, LCVs and vans ranging from 3.5-ton vans to 44-ton tractor units. Similarly to contract hire, all of these vehicles are available with super-sized day or sleeper cabs to keep its drivers happy and comfortable on the road.
Progressive, positive workplace
On top of its private commercial clientele, Alltruck extends its services to public sectors, and has proudly been the trusted vehicle rental and fleet maintenance partner to the NHS for over 15 years. The business collaborated with an NHS trust to create a state-of-the-art fleet of rental ambulances and patient transport vehicles, and now Alltruck’s public sector department manages more than 800 vehicles for rental, including blue light A&Es, RRVs, and PTS ambulances, available for both long and short-term rentals in seated and stretchered orientations. For all vehicles provided, Alltruck also offers scheduled maintenance and service, as well as speedy breakdown repair, demonstrating just one of the ways that the company has a positive impact on its local communities.
Alltruck states that it has “never thought of the business as separate from the community in which it lives and works”, and community value is extremely important to the company. The business is proactively people-centered and heavily invests in its own people as well as wider social projects and initiatives.
For over ten years, Alltruck has run a Collect For Christmas campaign with local charity Leicestershire Cares, and has also been supporting the Nottingham rugby scene for several years by sponsoring the Nottingham Rugby Academy and supplying a bespoke liveried Sprinter panel van to the Nottingham rugby team. Additionally, Alltruck has worked alongside The Wire Project, offering 23 work placement opportunities to help ex-offenders return to work, and even its internal Employee of the Month award scheme donates over £3000 to charity each year.
The Employee of the Month scheme is just one of the ways that Alltruck recognizes and celebrates the excellence within its own workforce. From annual awards ceremonies to external social activities, the company actively works to provide a progressive, positive workplace environment where all staff can feel happy, understood, supported, and empowered. Alltruck believes that when its people flourish, the business will flourish in turn .
With its motivated workforce, excellent fleet and robust values, Alltruck is a business built for the future. Its continued commitment to keeping the country moving will be recognized each day as the company proceeds to expand, grow and, most importantly, make a difference to the transportation industry.
